The Misconception Surrounding Countries being “Visa-free” for Indians
If you thought that visa-free countries for Indians mean where Indian passport holders do not require a visa to enter (like I thought at one point), then, sorry to say – YOU ARE WRONG!
What Does Visa-Free Actually Mean?
Visa-free countries for Indians mean that Indian passport holders do not require any pre-travel authorization or paperwork at a consulate or embassy. So, “visa-free” includes countries where a visa is not required AND where you can apply for visa-on-arrival! Currently 56 visa-free countries for Indians, out of which 27 countries offer visa-on-arrival and the remaining 29 countries do not require a visa.
