MAHARASHTRA

OVERVIEW

Maharashtra unfolds as a grand epic, where the buzz of Mumbai’s urban dream gives way to whispering hill stations, ancient cave temples, and a coastline sculpted by time. For the discerning traveller, its true rhythm is found in the unhurried moments: watching the sunrise paint the Ajanta Caves in a golden glow before the crowds arrive, trekking to the forgotten fort of Pratapgarh shrouded in Sahyadri mist, or cycling through the serene, vineyard-lined backroads of Nashik. Unwind on the secluded, windswept beach of Harihareshwar, find solace in the monastic silence of the Ellora Caves’ lesser-visited halls, or savor a slow, multi-course Malvani seafood feast in the coastal village of Murud.
