Did you know that the person after whom Mount Everest is named was a resident of the quaint town of Mussoorie also known as “Queen of The Hills”? Just a 4-minute walk from George Everest’s house (after whom the highest peak is named!), lies this glamping camp embodying the the essence of living in the woods known as Everest Base
It is always good to learn from other’s experiences. We know what we want to do but sometimes we know not what we SHOULDN’T do!!
Cheap, safe, and liberating way to travel is by train where you get to meet and greet people from various walks of life for longer than three or four hours; the only drawback being the time it takes. New facilities introduced by IRCTC that intends to provide stress-free travel brings in a pleasant change.
In our quest to fulfill our duties as tourists we forget to experience what the local cuisine has to offer. This is my way of paying my gratitude to the local food of places I visit!
Kolkata which will forever remain Calcutta to me is much more than just a place with Hooghly Bridge and Howrah station. It is an emotion that amazes me everytime I visit her.
